I am a solicitor in the firm’s Medical Negligence group and have specialised in medical negligence since I qualified at Boyes Turner in 2008.
I run my own case load which consists of a wide variety of medical negligence claims, from gynaecological and obstetric cases to orthopaedic injuries. I also assist other members of the team with profound injury cases, including cerebral palsy. In the past year alone I have recovered just short of one million pounds in compensation for my clients.
I am a member of the Law Society, the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and the Young Solicitor’s Group.
I completed my Law degree (LLB Hons) at the University of Sheffield and went on to complete my LPC at the College of Law in York, obtaining a distinction.
I completed my training contract at Boyes Turner, during which I spent a year gaining a valuable insight into medical negligence.
Before joining Boyes Turner in 2006, I lived and worked in Japan for a year teaching English to all ages, which was a real eye opener and a culture shock! I also spent some time travelling around South East Asia and Central and South America, where I saw some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
In my spare time I enjoy socialising, trekking in the UK and abroad, visiting art galleries and going to gigs.
